Hood Warfare 2 Maps

The Steam description names Downtown, Suburbs, The Trenches, and Chicago Mall. Patch 1.0.10 later mentions supermarket. Because no current selection-menu capture reconciles those sources, this page publishes the names and evidence boundary—not a guessed final count, map plan, spawn guide, or mode matrix.

Current verified map names

The store description says Hood Warfare 2 brings a new set of maps and tells players to fight through Downtown, the Suburbs, The Trenches, and Chicago Mall. It also says players move between streets and indoor fighting, with different routes and positions to learn.

That supports four official names and a broad indoor/outdoor variety. It does not provide a selection-screen total, formal descriptions for each location, landmark names, floor plans, spawn points, objective sites, or mode availability.

Locations named in the official Steam description
Official store nameWhat the source confirmsWhat this page does not infer
DowntownThe location name is in the store overviewBuildings, streets, landmarks, spawns, or routes
SuburbsThe location name is in the store overviewHouse layout, boundaries, landmarks, or routes
The TrenchesThe location name is in the store overviewTerrain structure, objective sites, or sightlines
Chicago MallThe location name is in the store overviewFloor plan, store names, levels, or objective positions

These are the most defensible names for a Hood Warfare 2 maps overview, but the table is not labeled “complete current selection list.” The game released recently and already received multiple patches; a version-matched map menu remains the required source for completeness.

Why Supermarket remains a separate evidence note

Patch 1.0.10 discusses spawn adjustments and says some maps are inherently small, giving “supermarket” as an example. The wording places supermarket in a map context. However, the Steam store’s four-location paragraph does not name Supermarket, and the patch does not explain whether it is a separate selectable map, a section of another map, or an alternate label.

This page therefore records Supermarket as an official patch mention without merging it into the four-name store table or claiming a fifth-map total. That conservative treatment can change when a current map-selection menu or developer statement shows the exact relationship.

Not inferred: the supermarket-like environments visible in store images or gameplay footage are not automatically labeled “Supermarket” here. Visual resemblance is not a menu name.

What the available footage can and cannot show

Official Steam screenshots and recent gameplay recordings show residential streets, dense city blocks, retail interiors, a mall-like interior, and storefront areas. The images demonstrate environment variety, weapons, and live matches. They do not carry reliable per-frame map labels.

The video below is embedded as real gameplay evidence rather than copied into a local screenshot. It is intentionally described as an unlabeled environment record. It cannot prove that a frame belongs to Downtown, Suburbs, The Trenches, Chicago Mall, or Supermarket.

This October 13 bot-game recording moves through several environments, but it does not show a reliable map-selection label at the cited start. Use it for visual context, not map attribution.

A publishable map screenshot needs the map name visible in the same capture or a reproducible path from the selection menu into the match. It also needs a traceable original source and a reuse decision. Until then, the site avoids cropped promotional images with confident but unsupported captions.

Mode availability is not yet mapped per location

The official store publishes six global game modes and four location names, but it does not connect a specific mode to a specific map. A global list cannot establish that every combination is available. The patch notes reviewed also do not provide a compatibility table.

For that reason, this page does not add mode badges to each location. When a current selection screen is captured, the evidence should record each visible map option, the selected mode, disabled combinations, and the displayed build. Until then, use the game modes guide for objective rules and treat map pairing as a menu-level question.

What to observe while learning any map

You can practice useful observation without publishing invented routes. These are general study prompts, not claims that a specific map contains a particular spawn, shortcut, or dominant position:

  • Objective visibility: identify where the HUD directs you for turf, bags, bombs, or dropped chains.
  • Indoor and outdoor transitions: notice where lighting, cover, and engagement distance visibly change.
  • Return paths: after respawning, note the route you actually take back to the active objective instead of drawing a route from memory after one match.
  • Safe observation points: distinguish a place that gave you information once from a position proven advantageous through repeatable testing.
  • Mode-specific traffic: compare where players move when the objective changes; do not assume a kill-race route is optimal for a bag or bomb mode.

A bot match is useful for looking at visible geometry and objective markers. Steam confirms that players can choose map, mode, match settings, and bots, but the exact current setup flow remains assigned to the friends and private-match guide.

How this map list will be updated

The next evidence pass should begin at the current map-selection menu, not a search snippet or a fan-made list. Each entry needs the exact displayed name, capture date, game version, selectable modes where visible, and at least one screenshot whose location can be traced back to that selection.

Only after repeatable matches should the page add named landmarks, route explanations, or spawn observations. Those additions should distinguish direct observation from developer text and avoid turning one favorable fight into a permanent “best spot.” The first release will remain a single maps page; no individual map routes are added by this phase.

Hood Warfare 2 maps FAQ

How many maps are in Hood Warfare 2?

The current Steam description names four locations: Downtown, Suburbs, The Trenches, and Chicago Mall. Patch 1.0.10 also mentions supermarket in a map context. Without a current selection-menu capture, this wiki does not claim a final total.

Is Supermarket a separate map?

Patch 1.0.10 says small maps “like supermarket,” but the store’s four-name overview does not include that name. The sources reviewed do not reconcile whether it is a selectable map, an area, or an alternate label, so the page keeps it separate.

Which modes are available on each map?

The official store publishes a global six-mode list and a global location list, not a map-by-mode matrix. This page does not assume every mode runs on every map.

Why are there no map layouts or spawn diagrams?

No current, attributable overview captures or reproducible spawn tests were available. A guessed floor plan, route, spawn point, or power position would be more misleading than a shorter verified reference.

Are the embedded environments labeled as specific maps?

No. The embedded third-party footage is deliberately presented as unlabeled environment evidence. It is not used to assign a frame to Downtown, Suburbs, The Trenches, Chicago Mall, or Supermarket.
